MeloLearn (“we”, “us”) operates the MeloLearn website and application at www.melolearnai.com and related APIs. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data when you use our services.

• Account data — name, email, authentication identifiers (including via Cognito / SSO providers you connect).
• Usage data — features used, learning activity, device/browser metadata, and approximate location derived from IP for security and analytics.
• Content you provide — uploads, compose inputs, tutor chats, feedback, and classroom materials you submit.
• Billing data — processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the Learning Experience Engine.
• Personalize journeys, mentor responses, and teacher workflows.
• Operate accounts, subscriptions, and customer support.
• Detect abuse, enforce safety/moderation policies, and prevent fraud.
• Send service emails; marketing only with consent where required.

3. AI processing

Some features send prompts and context to AI providers to generate learning content or mentor replies. We configure providers to avoid using your content to train their public models where the provider offers that control. Do not submit sensitive personal data about minors beyond what your school or parent role requires.

4. Sharing

We share data with processors who help us run the service (cloud hosting, auth, analytics, email, payments, AI inference) under contractual safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the platform. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention

We keep account and learning records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal obligations. You may request deletion subject to those needs.

6. Your rights

7. Children

MeloLearn may be used by learners under adult or school supervision. Schools and parents are responsible for appropriate consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children for marketing.
