Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to MeloLearn’s websites, apps, and APIs. If you use MeloLearn on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose safety/security risk.

3. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at checkout. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise. Schools may have separate order forms that prevail if they conflict with these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

• No illegal, harassing, or harmful content.
• No attempts to bypass security, scrape at abusive rates, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what’s allowed by law.
• No uploading malware or content you do not have rights to use.
• AI features must not be used to generate disallowed or deceptive academic misconduct materials for others when prohibited by your institution.

5. Your content

You retain rights to content you upload. You grant MeloLearn a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service (including AI generation you request). You are responsible for having the rights to materials you submit.

6. Our service and IP

MeloLearn, its branding, software, and generated platform UI are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service per your plan.

7. AI outputs

AI-generated lessons, quizzes, songs, scenarios, and mentor replies may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review outputs before classroom use. MeloLearn does not guarantee academic outcomes.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeloLearn’s total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if you are on a free plan).

10. Termination

You may stop using MeloLearn at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach or risk. Provisions that should survive (IP, liability, indemnity) will survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
